We take great pride in the reviews our resident families have provided on our behalf. Our commitment to resident care and service is evident in these family testimonials.

Amy D. — “My sisters and I can't speak highly enough about Broadview AFH and the superb care our mom received while there. Although she was fairly healthy (and able to walk confidently with her walker), she was declining mentally and needed more care - we are so grateful that we found Broadview. From the very beginning Nilda (owner and RN) was responsive, caring, and knowledgeable which made us feel immediately comfortable about moving mom from her assisted living facility to Broadview. Even during the challenges of COVID restrictions, we felt that Nilda did everything she could to abide by the rules to keep everyone safe while making it as easy as possible for mom and our family, and she was always willing to work out special arrangements so our mom was comfortable and happy (such as ordering daily newspaper delivery as our mom enjoyed that routine). Sadly, our mom only lived there for 6 months before passing away somewhat suddenly, but we credit the care she received there as the primary reason why we had six really good months with her - she thrived in the environment at Broadview. All of the caregivers were attentive, friendly and clearly took very good care of her, the food was good, the place sparkling clean, and despite the limitations of COVID they tried to provide extra services such as manicures/pedicures. Nilda and Mitko take immense pride in their place and the improvements to the landscaping and outdoor space made over the summer are a huge testament to their desire to make this a comfortable, warm, lovely home for their residents. I would not hesitate to recommend Broadview AFH for your loved one, and in fact would strongly encourage it!”
Geeta M. — “I should have written this review a long time ago but I'm only getting to this now. Nilda and her amazing team of caregivers at Broadview AFH did a great job taking care of my mom who had late stage Alzheimer's earlier this year. Unfortunately, my mom passed away a short while after we moved her into Broadview AFH but she received excellent care while she was there. Nilda is warm, compassionate and genuinely caring. She is welcoming and communicative. Her team follows her lead and works to ensure that their residents are well cared for. When my mom transitioned to hospice and the hospice team came to care for my mom they all remarked how impressed they were with Nilda. This validated what we already had assessed ourselves. We had experienced several different care givers at home and at a larger well known facility more designed for active residents. When my mom's Alzheimer's advanced the other facility charged more but provided less care/amenities to meet her needs. We found Nilda through a referral from a friend and were fortunate to be able to move my mom into her care at that time.

It is so hard to see a family member go through this horrible disease but it is easier when you know that care givers like Nilda and her team are helping care for your family member with such grace and kindness. Thank you Nilda and team.”
Sandi M. — “I selected Broadview AFH for my father, anticipating a long term stay. God had other plans and took my father home within two weeks of his arrival. However, in those two weeks, the caregivers were exceptionally kind, gentle and thorough in their care of Dad. His passing leaves my heart sad, but I'm comforted knowing that he passed in such a kind and caring environment. Words cannot fully express my gratitude.”
Sam M. — “Nilda and the caregivers at Broadview Adult Family Home provided excellent care for our mother while she resided at their residence, this past year! Broadview AFH, has a very "homelike", comfortable, and relaxing environment.

The caregivers were always compassionate, caring and professional! They went " above and beyond " in cooking our mom's favorite home cooked receipes and always tried hard to get her to eat and drink enough, despite a few times when our mom refused to eat. They also showed extreme patience in working with our mom when she was sometimes very "rude and demanding" . We felt, the nursing care was excellent, and the family, and Mom's doctor's were always informed of any health concerns. Nilda, the Adult Family Home, registered nurse, had excellent communication skills, was very knowledgeable in geriatric health care issues and always encouraged us to consult Mom's primary care doctor when any medical issues may have required more attention. I would highly recommend this Adult Family Home for your loved one! ”
